The Doppelduffel Adventure Bag is a unique travel bag that can be carried by hand, by shoulder strap (in 2 orientations), or by it's concealable ergonomic backpack straps. Multiple pockets, pouches, and compartments offer plenty of space and organization, and the main interior is equipped with 2 padded dividers for splitting the main compartment into smaller sections.

As usual Maxpedition has exceeded my expectations with these duffles! They are extremely well made and will probably outlive me!
Great bag; very happy I chose to purchase it. This is my fourth Maxpedition product.
1. Background. This purchase was to replace an identical bag that was lost by Delta Airlines. I had the previous bag for 4 years and it had held up exceptionally well. 2. Usage. Primarily for driving trips to and from hotels; but have flown with it on a few occasions. 3. Construction 3.a. Fabric. Very durable Cordura nylon. 3.b. Hardware. All zippers and buckles are very durable. 4. Size. Depending on how you pack or the time of year, this can be used for a Monday-Friday trip. Sample packing list: running shoes; four pair of lightweight cargo pants; five lightweight shirts (T, polo or button-down), one pair running shorts; five pair socks; four pair underwear; three 3" x 6" accessory bags (shoe shine kit, sewing kit, grooming kit); one 4" x 8" accessory bag (hygiene kit - razor, electric toothbrush, toothpaste, hairspray, hairbrush, spray deodorant, moisturizer); lightweight jacket. With all of these contents, there was still plenty of room to spare. 5. Features - external 5.a. Backpack straps and a single shoulder strap; may be tucked inside a zippered pouch on the bottom/back when not being used. 5.b. Zippered pouch on top; approximately the size of a thick paperback book. 5.c. Zippered pouches on both long sides, each containing mesh dividers. When the main compartment of the bag is fully-packed, these pouches cannot accommodate large items. 5.d. Handles. Padded handle on the top; unpadded handles on each short side. 5.e. Compression straps. Two on each long side. 6. Features - Internal 6.a. Two zippered mesh pouches on the lid. These are large enough to accommodate six average-size prescription bottles. 6.b. The main compartment has two zippered dividers that can separate the compartment into three sections or be unzipped to provide one large compartment.
