AGR™ Advanced Gear Research: DEP™ Daily Essentials Pouch
The DEP Daily Essentials Pouch is a two compartment pouch designed for everyday carry. It is sized to wear on a belt or to attach to the side of a pack. A loop field is positioned on the front for patch adhesion.
The DEP comes with two (2) TacTie® PJC5™ Polymer Joining Clips for modular attachment to any AGR or Legacy pack. The TacTie Polymer Joining Clip has been awarded United States Patent: US D796,846 S. Further, it is protected by other patents pending in the USA and internationally.

I purchased this as an add-on for the Rift Blade backpack and it made the perfect accessory for easy access to all of my daily carry items while on my trip.

As with all Maxpedition gear it is of good quality. I'm using the pouch to store power banks and charging cables in the travel trailer, works perfect. I would, however, like to see a more robust zipper. Yes, I would buy it again.

So far so good. Perfect size for intended use. Seems well built and sturdy.

This pouch is built like all the other Maxpedition gear I have purchased over the years, SOLID with great features, only time will tell if it is as durable. It will replace a Maxpedition Monkey Combat Admin pouch as an informal daily wear sporran, that has seen extensive wear over the last few years. The DEP is a good size, it holds only my EDC essentials when wearing my kilt; wallet, phone, swiss army knife, ProTac 1L-1AA, one spare battery and a pen. I'm not even tempted to try and get my keys inside. There is no temptation to try and make it too heavy to carry comfortably out front. It would have been nice if the front ATLAS panel had been loop material to be able to display a full sized morale patch but, so is. I may have to purchase another one in black.
