Original broke (male tabs broke first one then the other 4 days later) maybe plastic fatigue? So ordered this with the hope of replacing the male end without sewing and it worked!

This broke within a short time owning my pack. Apparently this is not covered by Maxpedition. I bought a replacement and so far no issues.
They're the same as what comes with your Maxpedition gear. I bought mine to use as spares and to attach a Proteus to the bottom of my Falcon. It makes a great system to carry essentials or a summet kit or hunt/fish kit in the Proteus and larger/non essential gear in the main pack. Works great for me.
