Lifetime bag
I’m pretty sure I bought this bag around 2012, so that means I’ve had this sucker for about 12 years. It might be more, I can’t remember. In that time, this bag has been to four countries, and I have rucked hundreds of miles with it. It has been dropped off buildings, dropped out of moving vehicles, dragged across roads, dragged down rocky slopes, used as a front and as a rear bag for long range shooting (with a fat muzzle break next to it). I have been swimming with it on my back. It has stood up to over a decade of daily use and abuse, and I dare you to try and **** it. One time I fell off of my bike and this backpack absorbed the blow and might have saved my back from breaking on a curb. This backpack will outlive me and my children. I honestly love this piece of gear.
I finally got it right
Rebuilding my B.O.B. I wanted something bigger than I currently had with a space for a hydration bladder. At first I ordered a cheapy off of A****N.com and as I opened the package I immediately realized my mistake. I can't rely on something that's going to fall apart, so I went for the best, I went for Maxpedition made from the toughest ballistic nylon around. I even got a heck of a deal in the process.
What I needed
It works great for my needs as a truck driver. I'm home everyday but I can take what I need to go out at night. I attached the proteus versapack for extra space

Great pack. Well made. Pockets are perfectly distributed. Pockets are not too big and not too small. Easy to organize and retrieve conternts. Distributes the weight perfectly. Highly recommended. Second Maxpedition pack I own and both are perfect.
