Description
Adaptable, durable and versatile describes the new 30L Riftblade™ by Maxpedition. The overall design is based on our concealed carry capable 23L Riftcore™ introduced in 2016, and it is a direct response to our loyal customers who requested a tactical backpack of the same high quality but in a larger size. To balance the 30% increase in capacity, a padded load-bearing waist belt is added for comfort. Larger size also translates to more exterior AT.tachment LA.ttice S.ystem (ATLAS) surfaces for modular addition of specialized accessories such as admin, first aid or hydration pouches. In our quest to build the best mid-sized zippered frameless pack possible, we use heavy duty materials, top quality components and reinforced construction methods to exceed the requirements of the most demanding military and law enforcement applications, thereby also satisfying the needs of adventure travelers and prepared citizens. From extended reconnaissance missions to self-reliant overland travel, the Riftblade™ has got your six!

The best!!!
The backpack is very well constructed! I don´t remember I have ever seen something like this. I still can attach any molle compatible pouch or sheath. It´s very sturdy in every aspect and perfect for a every day carry pack or regular day use. I recommend it.
Awesome Bag!
I love this bag and the fact that each of the three compartments are gusseted out at the bottom. I am amazed at how much gear this bag can hold. Even in the front pocket I can carry a 32 ounce Nalgene bottle along with a fatty pocket organizer that is packed full. This quite frankly is the perfect bag design for what I need. Most other bags don’t seem to build out their pockets on the bottom so you can’t carry a lot of gear. These pockets are very deep and accommodating . I love the fact that the hip or waist belt is also totally removable. The build quality on this bag is phenomenal. Highly recommend this bag - it is fantastic.
Explorer Ready
The dream of all exploring backpacks. I have gone up three 14ers in Colorado with the Riftblade now! I can get a bivy tent and a sleeping bag in with extra room to spare for my DEP and FRP. Thanks Maxpedition for making a real backpack! I want to bring it to Afghanistan on my next deployment! Review of it will be on my YouTube Channel.
Awesome Upgrade !
I have a Riftcore that just wasn't quite big enough for my day to day use. I often fill my bag up as I run errands through the day, and I couldn't quite fit all the things I wanted to in the Riftcore. The Riftblade is a welcome improvement, if it had an integrated waterbottle pouch (I'm using the attachable one, but it doesn't hold a 40 oz bottle as securely as I'd like) It would be absolutely perfect. As it is, this bag is roomy, easy to organize and extraordinarily robust. A lot of people at work have asked me about the bag, and if it's worth the cost., which it absolutely is. A couple of times I've poured my water bottle on the bag to demonstrate how water resistant it is. For a piece of gear that I use almost daily I cannot think of a better price to utility ratio. For me it has been a phenomenal tool, that allows me to haul all my gear reliably and easily.
