Maxpedition employs high technology in our bag manufacturing process with laser cutting.  This is the most precise way to cut fabric and the heat generated aids in cauterizing the fabric edges to mitigate fraying. 

Here we show the laser at work cutting a fabric panel for the Ironstorm Adventure Bag.
